The state 1A and 2A high school basketball tournament concluded on Saturday at the Casper Events Center. Tongue River repeated as 2A girls champions edging Kemmerer in overtime 55-54. Sarah Rawlings led the way for Tongue River with 27 points. Wyoming Indian captured the 2A boys title beating Rocky Mountain 69-53. Its the 4th state title in the last 6 years for the Chiefs. Lingle won the 1A girls state championship with a 60-48 win over Cokeville. That was the first state title for Lingle in 8 years. Burlington defeated 3 time champion Snake River 83-59 for the 1A boys title. It was Burlington's first state title in 4 years.
