27th Annual Casper Youth Basketball Tournament in the Books

The gigantic Casper Youth Basketball tournament concluded over the weekend with 117 teams competing in gyms all over town. This is the 27th year of the tournament and attracts  teams from around the state and region. On the boys side, the Cheyenne Rebels won the 8th grade championship, Gillette Basketball took the 7th grade title, the Cody Broncs were victorious in the 6th grade Pokes Division with Worland winning the 6th grade Cowboys division. The Gillette Jays were the 5th grade champions and the Razor City Celtics took 1st in the 4th grade group.

On the girls side, the Lady Tigers from Lusk won the 8th grade classification, the MC Bulldogs won 7th grade and a team called "Eight" won all the marbles in 6th grade. The Gillette Gold were the winners in 5th grade and the 4th grade champions this year for the girls was the Meyer-Dana Lady Dynamite
