3A Regional Basketball Tournaments

The 3A Regional Boys and Girls Basketball Tournaments begin on Thursday. The east teams will play at Wheatland High School and west teams will play at Cody High School.

The top four teams in each division will advance to the state tournament in Casper March 10-12.

BOYS 3A EAST AT WHEATLAND:

Monday, February 28th:

#8 Glenrock 54 #9 South 43 (South Eliminated!)

Thursday, March 3rd:

#6 Newcastle (11-13) vs. #3 Wheatland (19-5)– 10am

#7 Thermopolis (3-20) vs. #2 Buffalo (19-4) – 1pm

#5 Douglas (12-12) vs. #4 Rawlins (16-6)– 4:30pm

#8 Glenrock (5-21) vs. #1 Torrington (20-4) – 7:30pm

BOYS 3A WEST AT CODY:

Worland gets #1 seed over Powell, due to head-to-head sweep. Jackson gets #3 seed over Lander, due to having a head-to-head sweep vs. Worland, whereas Lander does not.

Thursday, March 3rd:

#8 Pinedale (0-21) vs. #1 Worland (14-9) – 10:30am

#5 Lyman (12-10) vs. #4 Lander (10-12) – 1:30pm

#7 Mountain View (4-19) vs. #2 Powell (12-9) – 5:30pm

#6 Cody (8-16) vs. #3 Jackson (12-10) – 8:30pm
