Area Games And Tournaments This Weekend

There's a full slate of games along with regional wrestling tournaments this weekend in the area. Casper's wrestling teams are  in regional action and there's  some key basketball games.

Kelly Walsh wrestlers are at the East Region Wrestling Tournament at Cheyenne East. Other teams participating are Cheyenne East and Central, Laramie, Sheridan and Gillette. The Natrona wrestlers are Green River for the West Regional. Other teams participating are Evanston, Green River, Riverton, Rock Springs and Star Valley. The top eight wrestlers in each of the 14 weight classes advance to the state tournament in Casper Friday and Saturday Feb. 25-26. Glenrock is hosting the 3A East Regional Wrestling Tournament. In Basketball, Natrona will host Rock Springs tonight in key west region matchups. In the girls game, Natrona is 6-1 in conference play tied with Rock Springs who's 5-1. The Fillies won the first game at Rock Springs back on Jan. 28th 71-30. They're playing for the potential top spot in the upcoming regional tournament. On the boy's side Natrona is 5-2, one game back of Rock Springs who is 5-1. The Tigers beat the Mustangs on Jan. 28th 56-53. Girls will play at 6:00 with the boys at 7:45pm. The Natrona boys will host Green River tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 pm with the Fillies hosting Green River at 1:30. The Kelly Walsh Girls will host Cheyenne East tonight at 7:30 pm and on the road at Cheyenne Central Saturday night at 6:00 pm. The Kelly Walsh boys host Cheyenne Central  Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm.
