LOS ANGELES (AP) — Arizona's Patrick Corbin will try to become just the third pitcher in 25 years to start a season 10-0 when he takes the mound tonight against the Dodgers. The 23-year-old left-hander takes a 1.98 ERA into tonight's start. The Diamondbacks are 12-0 in games Corbin has started this season.

ARDMORE, Pa. (AP) — Golfers are trying to get in some last-minute work at the Merion Golf Club in preparation for the start of the U.S. Open tomorrow. Heavy rains early in the week limited practice time and soft fairways left mud on the golf balls. Rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Thursday's opening round.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — San Antonio guard Tony Parker is scheduled to have an MRI on his sore hamstring today after he had to leave last night's Game 3 NBA Finals win over Miami. Parker felt the hamstring tighten on him early in the third quarter and left the game. He returned briefly in the fourth quarter of the 36-point win.
