The Natrona Mustangs will host Star Valley and Evanston in key 4A West Conference boys games Friday and Saturday. The Mustangs spilt with the Braves and Red Devils back in January on the trip out west.

Natrona defeated Star Valley  on January 21st 56-49. Kyle Vinich led the Mustangs that night with 14 points with Andy Martin chipping in with 13. Tyson Woodford led the Braves with 11. The Mustangs then lost on the 22nd to Evanston 53-50. Kyle Vinich again led the Mustangs with 16 points. Jeff Lee paced the Red Devils with 24 points. Natrona, ranked fifth in this week's Wyopreps.com/Coach's/Media poll is currently 11-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Evanston  ranked fourth in this week's poll is tied with Rock Springs on top of conference play at 4-1. But Rock Springs has the upper hand as they beat the Red Devils 64-53 on February 5th. Evanston is 14-4 overall. And Star Valley is 2-3 in conference play and 7-10 overall. The other two teams in the 4A west, Riverton is 2-3 and Green River is 0-5 in conference action. The Natrona/Star Valley game Friday night is at 7:00 with the pregame show at 6:45pm. And the Natrona/Evanston game is Saturday afternoon at 2:00 with the pregame show at 1:45pm on AM 1400 ESPN.

The other Casper high school basketball teams are in action this weekend. Kelly Walsh boys are in Sheridan Friday night and host Gillette Saturday night. The Natrona girls are at Star Valley Friday night and at Evanston Saturday afternoon. And the Kelly Walsh girls host Sheridan Friday night and are at Gillette on Saturday night.
