Boys Basketball Polls: Torrington New #1 In 3A
The Torrington Trailblazers are the new number one ranked team in the lastest Wyopreps.com/Coach's/Media boys basketball 3A poll. The Trailblazers beat previous number one Buffalo last week 55-52.
Torrington picked up 16 of the 22 first place votes this week. Buffalo picked up the remaining six first place votes. The rest of the top five in 3A remains the same with Wheatland third followed by Rawlins and Douglas. The only other change in any of the four polls comes in 4A where Sheridan and Evanston switch positions. The Broncs are third and the Red Devils are fourth. Sheridan picked up wins over Cheyenne East and Central and Evanston defeated Green River but lost to number two Rock Springs 64-53 last week. Gillette remains number one followed by Rock Springs. Natrona stays at number five.
