An incredible comeback for the Denver Broncos as they erased a 24 point deficit and beat San Diego on the road Sunday night. Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning was terrific in the 2nd half, going 13 of 14 for 167 yards and three touchdowns. In the first half Manning threw an interception for a touchdown. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had a bad 2nd half, throwing 3 interceptions including 1 pick that went for a touchdown and lost 2 fumbles. The Broncos 24 point rally was the 4th greatest comeback in NFL history. Both teams are 3-3 with the Broncos going into a bye week.

Wyoming Head Football Coach Dave Christensen did receive a reprimand from the Mountain West Conference after his extended rant towards Air Force Head Coach Troy Calhoun after the Pokes 28-27 loss to the Falcons on Saturday night in Laramie. Christensen express his displeasure, claiming that Air Force quarterback Connor Deitz was faking an inury to buy sometime in the 4th quarter in the game. Christensen may have a point but certainly expressed it the wrong way. Also starting quarterback Brett Smith is listed as day to day with concussion like symptoms. The Cowboys are on the road this Saturday at Fresno State.

The Wyoming Basketball team started practice sessions back on Friday in Laramie. The Pokes with 2 returning starters back in Leonard Washington and Luke Martinez. The Cowboys will have an exhibition game against Fort Lewis in Ethete at the end of the month.

In the baseball playoffs, the National League Championship Series is even at a game apiece as San Francisco beat St. Louis 7-1. Giants starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong with 7 strong innings on the mound. That was the Giants first win at home in the playoffs this season. Game 3 will be in St. Louis on Tuesday.

In the American League Championship Series, Detroit takes a 2 games to none lead over New York to tonight's game 3 match up in Detroit.

This week's Prep Game of the Week as top ranked Natrona hosting number 2 Gillette Friday night. Both teams come in undefeated at 8-0, and will have home field in the upcoming playoffs. Kickoff is at 7:00pm with the pregame show on AM 1400 ESPN. Kelly Walsh will host Cheyenne Central.
