Casper H.S. Basketball Teams Enjoyed A Winning Weekend

Kelly Walsh and Natrona basketball teams had a successful weekend in beating Rock Springs and Riverton. The four teams posted a combined conference 7-1 record with the lone loss coming from the Kelly Walsh girls, a 31-29 setback to Rock Springs.

The KW girls bounced back after that loss with a 40-16 win Saturday over Riverton. The Trojan boys came away with two conference wins. KW beat Rock Springs at home Friday night 61-59 and then went on the road and upset Riverton 45-39.

The Natrona boys with two wins. The Mustangs defeated Riverton on the Wolverines home floor Friday night, 50-48 and then came home Saturday afternoon and picked up a conference win over Rock Springs, 71-63. The Natrona girls remain unbeaten going to 15-0 with a road win at Riverton Friday night 70-35 and a home victory Saturday afternoon over Rock Springs 77-41. All four teams have just one game this week, against each other. Its the first of two matchups with Natrona and Kelly Walsh this Thursday at the Casper Events Center. The girls tip-off at 6:00 with the boys game at 7:30pm. Both games will be on AM 1400 ESPN.
