The Casper high school basketball teams made the long Evanston-Riverton road swing over the weekend with the Natrona girls the only team to sweep the trip. On Friday, NC ran by Riverton 72-26 as Emily Robertson led the way with 14 with Amber Johnson had 12. On Saturday, Natrona dominated Evanston 74-34 as Sarah Jones threw in 15 and Katie Mayhew had 13. The Fillies are 16-2 overall and 8-0 in the 4A west The Natrona boys beat Riverton on Friday 52-49 thanks to a 35 footer at the buzzer from Drew Switzer. He had 11 points in the game and Logan Harbaugh with 13. NC fell to Evanston on Saturday 53-41 to fall to 6-11 overall and 4-4 in league play. The Kelly Walsh boys started out the road trip with a 39-34 win over Evanston thanks to 11 points from Cam Carter and 9 from Grant Murphy. The Trojans let one slip away on Saturday as they lost to Riverton in overtime 62-51. Manny N'Tula had a sensational game for KW with 27 points so the Trojans 5-3 in conference play and 9-9 overall. The Kelly Walsh girls lost at Evanston on Friday 57-44 as they got 15 points from Jamia Johnson and 14 from Madison Vinich The Lady Trojans bounced back with a 44-37 win over Riverton. Vinch had a dozen and Johnson contributed 11. KW now 4-4 in league play and 6-12 overall. All 4 Casper teams will be in Sweetwater County to meet Rock Springs and Green River on Friday and Saturday.
