The Casper Recreation Center’s new fall Sports & Martial Arts classes begin September 4 or later. Learn new skills or improve on the ones you already have in Tumbling & Gymnastics, Fencing, TaeKwon-Do, Kenpo Karate and Tennis.

 

The new Gym Jam class for ages 2-3 meets Wednesday at 11:00 am. Toddlers will move, tumble, and play games while improving motor skills and spending time with parent or grandparent.  Tiny Tot Tumbling for ages 4-5 are offered Wednesday at 5:15 pm or Saturday at 9:00 am. Youth Beginning Gymnastics for ages 6 and over and is held on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm or Saturday at 9:45 am and a new Advanced Gymnastics class for those in between Beginning and Intermediate will meet Wednesday at 4:10 pm.  Youth Intermediate Gymnastics for ages 8 and up who have permission from the instructor is on Saturday at 10:50 am.

 

Fencing classes for ages 9 through adults will introduce students to the Olympic sport of Fencing with basic foot work and use of the Foil. Students with prior experience will brush up on their basic skills and work on more advanced moves. Class held on Monday at 7:15 pm.

 

TaeKwon-Do classes for ages 8 and up meet on Tuesday & Thursday from 5:30-7:00 pm and the Advance class also meets on Friday evenings. Younger children may take the class if accompanied by an adult.

 

Kenpo Karate class will meet on Tuesday & Thursday from 7:15-8:45 pm for traditional Okinawan Karate. This class is for ages 8 & up unless an adult signs up with the child.

 

10 & under Tennis This  new revolutionary program for ages 5-10 tailors equipment and courts to a child’s size so they develop skills and have fun right  from the start. Class will meet on Tuesday & Thursday at 4:15 beginning October 9.
