The Wyoming Cowboys beat Lehigh Tuesday night on a buzzer beater 67-66, thanks to a 3-pointer from Nathan Sobey. Lehigh scored with just under 6 seconds to go to take a 66-64 lead. The Pokes quickly moved the ball down floor. Sobey stationed himself in the corner for the game winning shot and nailed it. He finished with 12 points and Derrious Gilmore had a sensational game with 25 points, 17 of those coming in the first half. UW needed everyone of those points as Leonard Washington played just 2 minutes due to a bad back. The Cowboys will play either North Dakota State or Western Michigan on Monday at a site to be determined.

The Wyoming Cowgirls will start WNIT play on Thursday in Laramie taking on Northern Colorado. The Cowgirls are 24-7 and the Bears are 20-12. UNC has 2 Wyoming natives on the roster. Stephanie Lee of Casper Natrona and Kyleigh Hiser from Laramie. The Cowgirls are led by senior Chaundra Sewell who's averaging 14 points and 9 reobounds a game. Sewell is among four individuals selected to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Region VII Team. The honor makes her among 52 candidates nationwide eligible for the 10-member WBCA Division I Coaches' All-America Team, which will be announced April 6.
