The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team swept their season opening series with the Superior Roughriders from Colorado over the weekend. The Coyotes started the party on Friday with a 3-2 win, thanks to an excellent defensive performance. Casper followed that up with a 6-3 victory on Saturday night as Josh Arnold came through with a hat trick for the Coyotes. On Sunday afternoon, Vikor Thim scored twice and Casper native Brady Griffin scored once as the Coyotes held on to beat the Riders 5-4. Casper will be at home Friday and Saturday to take on Colorado State University in a pair of exhibition games
