The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team took 2 out of 3 in their weekend series with the Salt Lake City Moose at the Casper Ice Arena. On Friday, the Coyotes suffered a rare loss, beaten by Salt Lake 4-3. Viktor Thim had 2 goals for Casper in that contest. On Saturday, the Coyotes rebounded with a 4-1 win as goaltender Rikard Landfeldt made 29 saves. Casper closed out the series on Sunday with a 3-2 win, thanks to 36 saves from Landfeldt. The Coyotes are 16-5 overall and lead the Mountain Division of the Western States Hockey League. They'll have a road game in Cheyenne on Friday.
