Day 1 of State Wrestling Tournament in the Books

One full day is complete in the State High School Wrestling tournament at the Casper Events Center. In 4A, Gillette has the lead over Green River heading into Championship Saturday. The Camels are looking for their 13th consecutive state title. Its been a rough meet for the Casper schools with not one guy from either Natrona or Kelly Walsh qualifying for the finals. In 3A, Powell is looking for the 4th straight title and currently leads the team race heading into the championship round over Star Valley. In 2A, Moorcroft has a commanding lead as the Wolves are looking for the 3rd consecutive state championship.
