Say What?

What up people? Pre-season football has officially begun! I am so excited! I was watching the NFL channel go through each teams’ practices, live. Not exactly prime time I know, but for us die-hards, it is fun! Of course I play fantasy football too, so I have to check out who is doing what, don’t ya know!

Let’s see, oh yeah, I read that my ole favorite quarterback, Brett Favre is now the offensive coordinator at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg Mississippi. I am glad number four is back in football, even if it is on a high school level. He has a lot of wisdom to impart on kids and I’m sure he will have a willing audience, for sure!

Tim Tebow, how will this kid do in New York? It has been such a roller coaster from Denver to New York, and he is nothing but humble. It seems that the Jets are really just preparing him for the running game and the wildcat offense, but who knows? Nobody in Denver saw the Tebow mania coming and how he handled it was nothing short of amazing.

Next on my list, since we are on the subject of Denver, is Peyton. I have heard much talk about how concerned everyone is that he doesn’t have the arm strength he used too, and that he won’t be able to move around in the pocket, but I really just have this gut feeling about him. I have been watching Peyton since Tennessee, and he is above all else a competitor at the highest level, and I have no doubt that he will put the naysayers to rest. Dare I say Denver and Green Bay in the Super Bowl???

And last but not least, Green Bay. Defense will be the main course for this 2012 season. Everyone knows that Green Bay lacked in this area last year and I am quite sure that the fundamentals and tackling will not be of concern for this season. I am excited to see the drive and determination that is emanating from that training camp. They will be a team to be reckoned with, for sure! Until next week, keep it real!
