It began with a dream at a young age. Now that dream has become reality for former University of Wyoming defensive end Eddie Yarbrough.

He’s playing professionally in his first season with the Buffalo Bills. The former Cowboys stars recently chronicled his journey in a feature from the Bills, “Beyond Blue and Red presented by New Era: Eddie Yarbrough.”

Yarbrough talks about how he has kept a journal for quite a while; his pursuit of playing professional football and more.

The 6’2, 259 pound rookie has played in all nine games for Buffalo this season with one start. Yarbrough currently has 20 total tackles with one sack and one pass defended.

As a Cowboy, Yarbrough played the 2012-15 seasons. He finished with 256 career tackles. That included a school record 39 tackles for loss and 21.5 sacks. Yarbrough also forced four fumbles and recovered three with four pass break-ups in a Brown and Gold uniform. He was a two-time First Team All-Mountain West performer and named Second Team All-MW once in his collegiate career.
