Former U-W Basketball Star Named Athletic Director At Montana Tech
Montana Tech Chancellor Don Blackketter has announced th
at former University of Wyoming and Boston Celtics basketball player Charles Bradley
has been named the school's new athletic director.
Bradley will begin work Wednesday replacing Joe McClafferty, who served as athletic director for six years before being named the school's vice chancellor for
development and university relations.
Bradley earned All-America honors at the University of Wyoming, where he graduated
with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He was drafted in the first
rst round of the 1981 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, where he played for two
seasons.
Bradley has also coached at the college level and held executive positions with
several businesses before building two companies. Most recently, he was working
in development for the basketball program at Mesa Community College.
Blackketter says Bradley brings a wealth of fundraising and administrative
experience to the NAIA school in Butte.
