The Casper Ghosts open their second to last homestand of the season tonight when they host Ogden. Due to technical problems on AM 1400 ESPN, tonight's game will be on AM 1030 KTWO.

The Ghosts hope to rebound after losing all seven games on the road last week. Casper who was on top of the South Division earlier in this half, are now sitting on the bottom at 11-17, seven games in back of division leading Orem (18-10). The Ghosts hosts the Raptors for four and Orem for two Saturday and Sunday. Again tonight's game can be heard on AM 1030 KTWO.  Two of the Ghosts have been selected to the Pioneer All-Star Team. The Wyoming Cowboys will open up the season this Saturday night when they hosts Weber State. Head Coach Dave Christensen announced that three players are suspended for violating team rules. Safety Kenny Browder who was projected to start will be suspended indefinitely. Safety Eric Mitchell who was right behind Browder on the depth chart, and Receiver T.J. Smith will be suspended for the Weber State game. Saturday night's game at War Memorial Stadium will be at 7:00 on AM 1030 KTWO.

The Colorado Rockies lost to NL West Division leading Arizona Monday night 5-1 in Phoenix. The Diamondbacks received an outstanding pitching performance from Daniel Hudson who held the Rockies in check only allowing the Rockies to three singles in seven shoutout innings. Arizona has won seven straight and dropped Colorado 12-games back of the D-backs.
