It was February 19th 2017 that I first took to the mic host the morning talk show on AM 650 KGAB in Cheyenne Wyoming.

It has been quite a year.

Landing here just in time for Cheyenne's 150th anniversary could not have been better timing.

From interesting interviews to callers that range from intelligent to clever to down right out in the farthest out there that weird out there has to offer, I've had nothing but one great day after the next hosting the show. I mean that.

The fine folks of Cheyenne first welcomed me to town with a little party at a private residence. One year later and I'm smoking cigars every Friday night around a bond fire in a listeners back yard.

From Thankful Thursday raising tens of thousands of dollars each week for a different charity to Big O tires giving away a car to a needy mom every mother's day, Cheyenne is one of the most giving towns I have ever lived in.

By the way, this is the only town in Wyoming that knows how to make biscuits and gravy. That is important to a Southern boy like me.

We now launch the KGAB morning show into year 2 with a growing audience and a powerhouse of a signal that brings in callers as far North as Gillette Wy, as far East as South Dakota and Nebraska, and as far South as Colorado Springs. With our mobile app and voice-activated Alexa devices, we are reaching more people now than ever. And it's still free..

Thank for the warm welcome to Wyoming. I plan to push even harder to live up to your expectations in 2018.
