High School Girls Basketball Polls
Sheridan, Douglas, Lovell and Snake River remain number one in this week's Wyopreps.com, Coach's and Media basketball polls. In 4A Sheridan which remained undefeated with a couple of wins over Laramie and Kelly Walsh picked up all 15 first place votes. Gillette moves into the number two spot with two wins and coupled with Cheyenne Central losing to cross town rival Cheyenne East 45-39 slips to third. Cheyenne East with that win moves into the poll at fourth with Laramie fith. Sheridan will be at Gillette on Friday night. In 3A Douglas received 20 of the 21 first place votes. Cody remains number two and Mountain View who picked up the other first place vote remains third. Buffalo fourth and Wheatland fifth. There was no changes in the 3A poll this week. In 2A, the closes voting for the top spot with Lovell again holding off Big Horn with nine first place votes to Big Horn's eight. Rocky Mountain remains third and Tongue River Fourth. Pine Bluffs moves in at fith replacing Burns. And in 1A no change in the top four with Snake River in the top spot followed by Kaycee, Cokeville and Burlington. Guernsey-Sunrise is in at number five replacing Encampment.
