The Jackson Elk Herd is on the move. About 11,000 elk are taking part in the annual spring migration, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Facebook page.  Game and Fish says the elk herd is one of the largest in the the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and the largest in Wyoming. They recently posted this amazing video of the migration. More from Wyoming Game and Fish:

"The bulk of these animals spent the winter on the National Elk Refuge and are now taking part in their annual spring migration back to their traditional summer ranges in the Gros Ventre Wilderness, Teton Wilderness, southern Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.

The steady stream of elk in this video were filmed this past weekend against the stunning backdrop of the snow-covered Teton Range as they headed north and east from Jackson, with many headed back up to higher elevations in the Gros Ventre mountains."
