Natrona Sweeps Casper Cup

The Natrona soccer teams delivered a 1-2 punch on Friday by winning the annual Casper Cup matches with Kelly Walsh. The NC boys defeated KW 3-1 to finish the regular season at 11-2-1 and earned an automatic bid to the state tournament and a first round bye at regionals. Danny Diaz had 2 goals for the Mustangs in that match. Kelly Walsh will be the 6th seed at regionals and will take on Green River on Thursday in Rock Springs. The Natrona girls nipped Kelly Walsh 2-1 in the Casper Cup fo rthe Fillies get that automatic bid to state and a first round bye at regionals. Sarah Jones and Sierra Bartsch scored the goals for the Fillies who ended the regular season at 9-4-2. KW is the 3rd seed at regionals and will face Riverton on Thursday. The winner of the match will earn a state tournament bid, the loser will go home.
