The Casper Oilers American Legion team split a twinbill with Laramie on Tuesday night at Lansing Field with the Oilers winning the opener 6-5 and losing the nightcap 5-3. Casper scored 3 runs in the 5th inning and tallied 3 more in the bottom of the 7th to pull out that win. Ethan Leech went 1-3 and drove in a run for Casper in that game. In the nightcap, the Oilers pounded out 10 hits but left too many runners on base. Keaton Westhoff had 2 hits and 2 RBI's for Casper as they fell to 8-32 on the year. The Oilers will be in Cheyenne for their 4th of July tournament this weekend.
