Kelly Walsh got four touchdowns from senior running back Denton Wilson as the Trojans rolled to their second win in a row over Cheyenne South 51-0 Friday night at Harry Geldien Stadium. Wilson had runs of 17, 39, 80 and 10 yards and totaled 172 yards on just 6 carries.

The Trojans also had a 39 yard touchdown pass play from Leighton Burgen to Terry Jackson in that first quarter along with Wilson's touchdowns. Kelly Walsh would score two TD's in the second quarter on an 8-yard run from Jackson and a 1 yard run from Logan Roszel. Wilson would score the final two TD's in the third quarter. John Flanto would kick a 28-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to wrap up the scoring for Kelly Walsh.

The Kelly Walsh defense would hold the South offense to just 40 yards. The Trojans had 294 yards in total offense with 237 on the ground and 57 yards passing. Jackson caught both passes of 39 and 18 yards. Despite the win Kelly Walsh had eight fumbles, losing three of them.

The Trojans with the win are 2-5 and will try to keep their playoff hopes alive when they travel to Sheridan next Friday night. That will be the Prep Game of the Week. Cheyenne South drops to 0-7 and they will host Gillette.
