The Colorado Rockies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 12-2 on Monday night. Nolan Arenado who played in Casper with the Ghosts in 2009 hit his first major league home run. Former Casper players Wilin Rosario and Dexter Fowler also homered as Colorado won for just the 3rd time in 9 games. Pitcher Tyler Chatwood picked up the win. The Rockies and Dodgers continue their series tonight on the west coast.

The Denver Nuggets return home to host the Golden State Warriors in game 5 of their first round NBA playoff series tonight. The Nuggets are on the ropes as they trail 3 games to 1, losing the last 3 games. The Warriors were able to win game 2 in Denver, where the Nuggets lost only 3 games they entire regular season.

In other NBA playoff games, Houston stayed alive beating Oklahoma City 105-103. Oklahoma City still leads that series 3 games to 1. And Brooklyn stayed alive in their series with Chicago beating the Bulls 110-91. Chicago leads that series 3 games to 2. And Atlanta got by Indiana 102-91 to even that series at 2 games apiece.

In the NFL, quarterback Tim Tebow is looking for a job after the New York Jets released him on Monday. Tebow attempted just 8 passes for the Jets last season and ran for 102 yards. He was traded to the Jets from the Denver Broncos in 2012.
