Snow to spread across north and central Wyoming Thursday night through Friday morning.

A Canadian cold front will push south along the east slopes of the Continental Divide Thursday through Thursday evening. Rain and snow are expected to spread south behind the front Thursday evening with precipitation changing to all snow overnight.

Snow accumulations are expected to be mostly from 1 to 3 inches across the central basins, but locally higher amounts are possible in along north and east facing slopes in the Bighorn Basin and Casper area. Strong north wind will also occur around Buffalo and the northern Bighorn Basin Thursday night.

Roads are expected to become slick with limited visibility in snowfall Thursday night through the morning commute time on Friday. Snow will taper off or end by Friday afternoon.
