The Wyoming American Legion Baseball Tournament begins on Wednesday morning in Cheyenne. Cheyenne will defend their title where they have won nine of the last ten baseball state championships.

Action begins at 9:30 with Casper the number three team from the north division will play Wheatland the runnerup from the south division. At 12:30pm, Sheridan the number two team from the north will take on Laramie the number three team from the south. At 4:00pm north division champion Gillette plays Torrington the fourth place team from the south and the night cap has south champion Cheyenne and Douglas, the fourth place team from the north. Tournament is scheduled to wrap up Saturday, but there could be a game on Sunday if necessary.
