State Volleyball Begins Thursday.

The State High School Volleyball tournament will begin on Thursday at the Casper Events Center. The first round pairings are as follow; in 4A Kelly Walsh plays Gillette at 1pm, Riverton takes on Cheyenne Central at 1:30. Natrona plays Cheyenne east at 4:30. Green River wraps up 4A play taking on Sheridan at 6pm

In 3A, Powell and Newcastle will start things off at 1pm, followed by Jackson and Douglas at 2:30, Mountain View tangles with Worland at 4:30 with Lovell and Rawlins concluding 3A first round play at 6pm

Over to 2A, Lyman will meet Burns at 1pm. Thermopolis plays Wright at 2:30. Shoshoni takes on Southeast at 4:30. Wind River and Big Horn will be the final 2A quarterfinal at 6pm.

Finally in 1A, Snake River will play Upton at 1pm. Encampment battles Hulett at 2:30. Cokeville plays Lingle at 4:30. Burlington takes on Kaycee at 6pm. The semi-final round in all 4 classes will be on Friday with the championship matches on Saturday.
