The Casper College women pulled the upset over 16-ranked Western Nebraska 73-67 in overtime Tuesday night, at Swede Erickson Gym. The T-Birds gave the Cougars (17-1) their first loss of the season.

Casper trailed by as much as nine in the first half, but came back and trailed at halftime 35-31. The Cougars built a nine point lead in the second half at 48-39 before the T-Birds went on a 18-1 run. The T-Birds (13-7) led 62-57, but the Cougars would score the final five points in regulation including the game tying field goal with three seconds remaining to send the game into overtime tied at 62. The T-Birds would outscore the Cougars 11-5 in OT for their biggest win of the year and the fifth win in six games here in January. Lindsey Fearing led the T-Birds with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Sherece Huddlin  had 14 points and 8 rebounds for CC. ChaCha Ofegbu and Tiffany Moorer each had 11 for the Cougars.  The T-Birds will host Gillette College Friday night at 5:30 pm.
