T-Birds Sweep Northwest College

The Casper College T-Bird men's and women's basketball teams swept Northwest College on Saturday in Powell. The Lady T-Birds (14-1) beat the Trappers 66-57. Rosalie Cutri led  the 6th ranked T-Birds with 16 points. Casper also got 13 points from Taylor Diehl (Natrona), 12 from Shelby Stewart (Glenrock) and 11 from KeArrow Jenkins. Shelby Garska (Natrona) led the T-Birds with 11 rebounds.

The T-Bird men beat Northwest 85-80 as four Casper players scored in double figures. Tyler Larson led the Thunderbirds with 21 points. Jerrold Brooks with 14 points, Denzel Douglas had 11 and Tyler Reynolds with 10 points to pace the Birds (10-5).

It's a busy week coming up for both teams. They host Eastern Wyoming of Torrington on Tuesday night at 5:30 and 7:30. Wednesday night Little Big Horn of Hardin, Montana comes to Erickson Gym with the same game times. And then on Saturday the T-Birds travel to Gillette for 5:30 and 7:30pm games. All  six games can be hear on AM 1400 ESPN with Marcus Hayden and Chris Crossen.
