Cheyenne East

The home debut for the Laramie Plainsmen went awry quickly, as fourth-ranked Cheyenne East scored on their first seven possessions en route to a 45-6 blow-out of the Plainsmen Friday night at Deti Stadium.

As State Basketball kicks off,  the NC girls continue to remain undefeated, as they picked off Cheyenne East with relative ease, beating them 64-36. Despite the score, it was a hard fought win, and the Cheyenne East girls have nothing to be ashamed of. The Fillies, however, have everything to be proud of. They worked hard, they played hard, and they won...hard.

The Sheridan Broncs won their second state championship in three years as they ran past Cheyenne East 42-14. The Broncs finish the season at 11-1 and the T-Birds 7-5.

The Cheyenne East Thunderbirds pulled the upset Friday night in the 4A football semifinals over Natrona 24-19. The T-Birds (7-4) avenged a regular season 26-3 loss back on Sept. 30th to the Mustangs.

With one game standing in between the Mustangs and the championship finals in Laramie, NC took on Cheyenne East in their final home game of the season. Fans came out to show their support and to will the Mustangs to a win.

The top-ranked Natrona Mustangs will host the Cheyenne East T-Birds in the semifinals of the 4A football playoffs this Friday night at 6:00pm at Cheney Alumni Field at Mustang Stadium.

Trojan fans of all ages turned out on Friday night to witness KW take on Cheyenne East in the former's home opener. It was a hard fought game that the Trojans lost, but they did not lose the support of the crowd, as these pictures can attest to.
