Three interceptions, 2 of which were returned for touchdowns, and 9 total tackles for loss, which included 4 sacks, led to the Wyoming defense winning the second scrimmage of spring drills 72-62 Wednesday morning. The Cowboys ran 109 total plays from scrimmage and had a kicking period during the two-hour session in the Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) at UW.

It starts every play and is very critical as to whether a play is run correctly or possibly ruined from the beginning. During this spring practice, the Wyoming Cowboy football team is trying to find a new center to trigger each play. It's a competition that has a good chance of carrying over into fall camp this August.

The Wyoming Cowboys conducted their second spring practice on Wednesday morning with the emphasis continuing on fundamentals and increasing the pace of practice. Fifth-year Wyoming head coach Dave Christensen liked the improvement of his team from day one to day two of spring drills, but still emphasized after practice the need for his team to continue to improve each and every day of the Cowboys’ 15 spring practices.
