In the NBA playoffs from Tuesday night, the Denver Nuggets lost at home to the Golden State Warriors 131-117 to even their opening playoff series at a win apiece. It was the Nuggets first home lost in 24 games. Golden State was sizzling from the field, shooting 61 percent in the first half and 64 percent for the game. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 30 points and 13 assists. Jarret Jack added 26. Game 3 of the series will be played Friday night in Oakland.

The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team is adding a new member for the upcoming season. 6'5  guard Jerron Granberry will transfer from North Florida. He'll have one year eligibility remaining and actually will graduate from North Florida this week and then pursue a masters degree. Granberry is a perimeter threat and that's something the Cowboys desperately need. In 101 games at North Florida over the course of 3 years, Granberry averaged 10 points a game and was 36 percent from behind the 3 point line. Granberry's coach at North Florida was Matt Driscoll who was an assistant at Wyoming under current UW coach Larry Shyatt, when Shyatt was in Laramie the first time around.

The Colorado Rockies lost twice to the Atlanta Braves at Coors Field on Tuesday. The Braves won the afternoon game 4-3 as they hit 3 home runs. The game time temperature was 23 degrees, breaking the record of 28 degrees when the Rockies played Montreal back in 1997.

In game 2, The Braves crushed the Rockies 10-2 as B.J. Upton and his brother Dustin hit back to back homers in the 5th inning. It's just the 2nd time in major league history that brothers have hit back to back home runs. The Rockies are now 13-7, and the Rockies will play the Braves this afternoon.
