Wyoming-Football.com is reporting that Vic Wilkerson has stepped down as the head football coach for the Campbell County Camels. He has ran the program for 13 years with an overall record of 110-35 with two state championships, in 2006 and 2008. His teams made the playoffs 12 years in a row and went 9-2 this past season. It's an interesting time for Campbell County football with the new Thunder Basin High School opening in the fall. More than a few Camel football players have chosen to attend Thunder Basin leaving the Camels extremely thin in terms of varsity experience. Wilkerson was the longest tenured football coach at Campbell County and his 110 wins is 22nd on Wyoming's all time list.
