Distracted driving takes many forms.  Texting and or talking on your phone, changing the radio station, even eating can distract you from the road if only for a few moments.

But the biggest concern is when these distractions take your hands off the steering wheel and eyes off the road.

According to the latest statistics released by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) over 100 people die everyday on our nations roadways.  Almost 10 percent of those deaths involve distracted drivers and drivers under the age of 20 are the largest group being distracted at the time of fatal crashes.

As a whole, Wyoming ranks as one of the worst offenders when it comes to auto accidents involving fatalities.  Add to that the fact that Wyoming has some of the worst enforcement of distracted driving laws and almost never issue citations for distracted driving or texting while driving statewide!

Here are the top 10 states with the most deaths per 100k licensed drivers from car crashes in the nation.
