A couple of Wyoming Cowboys earned enough money to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas come December. Cowley native and former Casper College cowboy J.R. Vezain finished 10th in the world standings of the bareback with $70,207.51 of earnings. This will be Vezain's 3rd straight appearance at the NFR; he finished 7th in the world standings last year. Wheatland's Seth Brockman will be going to the NFR for the 2nd time. He finished in 14th place in the steer wrestling and earned a spot in Vegas after a solid rodeo in Omaha at the end of September. He won $52932.68 this season and his last NFR appearance was in 2011.
