2019 Wyoming Football Schedule Revealed

A visit by an SEC opponent and Border War rival Colorado State to Laramie highlight the 2019 Wyoming Cowboys football schedule released Monday.

Wyoming will play three home games in late August and September, two in October and finish at home in late November against the rival CSU Rams. For a second straight season, the Pokes will have two byes on their schedule, Oct. 5 and Nov. 2.

The Cowboys open the 2019 season at home Aug. 31 versus Missouri. The Tigers become just the second SEC opponent to visit War Memorial Stadium.

Home games in September include a non-conference match-up against Idaho Sept. 14, and then the Mountain West Conference opener versus UNLV Sept. 28.

UW will play back-to-back home games in October when New Mexico and Nevada visit on Oct. 19 and 26, respectively.

The regular season home finale and senior day will be the 111th edition of the Border War against Colorado State Nov. 23.

Road non-conference games take Wyoming to Texas State, Sept. 7, and Tulsa Sept. 21.

In MW action, the Cowboys hit the road after their first bye week when they play at San Diego State Oct. 12. Wyoming will play three road conference games in November. First is a visit to Boise State on Nov. 9. That’s followed by a trip to Utah State on Nov. 16. The regular season finale will be Nov. 30 at Air Force.

The Mountain West Conference released its full 2019 schedule Monday. Next, MW national TV partners CBS Sports Network and ESPN will choose games that will shift to Thursdays or Fridays. That’s followed by the selection of network coverage and kick-off times. Additional games televised regionally on AT&T SportsNet or Stadium will be released at a later date.
