BYU football is off to one of it's worst season's in recent memory, and to add insult to injury, they were left without some of their equipment for a while after their road trip to East Carolina University last weekend.

Twitter user Shawn Scott Smith captured this photo along Interstate 40 near Asheville, North Carolina, noting the BYU equipment truck had broken down.

You can see the truck's driver working under the hood while waiting for assistance.

The Cougars are just 1-7 this season, falling to East Carolina Saturday 33-17. BYU plays at home against San Jose State University this week, hopefully with their equipment.

Naturally, the Twitter world had a few jokes for the Cougar mobile.
