C.C’s Strickland Signs with Portland State

Casper College basketball player Deante Strickland has verbally committed to Portland State. The 5-10 guard is a Portland native and averaged 15 points a game this past season for the Thunderbirds. Strickland shot 39% from the field and 37% from 3 point land. Strickland joins a Portland State team that just hired a new head coach in Barret Peery who previously coached at Santa Clara and the College of Southern Idaho. Portland State plays in the Big West and went 15-16 last season.
