The Casper Cutthroats continue to play well at home after a 2 game sweep of Cheyenne earlier this week. The Cutthroats are 8-7 overall and 6-0 at home in their first season.

Casper will host Loveland tonight at Mike Lansing at 6pm.

In Major League Baseball, the Colorado Rockies lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 7-2 in the opening game of their series. Phillies pitcher Cole Hammels struck out 7 in 8-innings of work. For the Phillies it was just their 4th win in the last 16 games. The Rockies are 1-11 since June 4th. Those 2 teams will play game again tonight.

Ryan Anaya of Natrona County High School have a verbal commitment to the University of Wyoming for the 2013 recruiting class. Anaya played linebacker and tight end for the Mustangs this past season with 44 tackles on defense and also had 11 receptions for 172 yards on offense. He was 2nd team all-state as a linebacker and first team all-state as a tight end. He is Wyoming's first in-state recruit since Drew Martinez of Green River a couple of years ago.

The Miami Heat have taken a commanding 3-games to 1 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder with 104-98 win Tuesday night. Lebron James of Miami who dealt with leg cramps late in the fourth quarter, led the Heat with 26 points, 12 assists and 9 rebounds. OKC's Russell Westbrook scored a career high playoff mark of 43 points. Game 5 will be played Thursday night in Miami.
