Casper Schools Open Up Football Season Friday

The two Casper Schools open the 2011 football season at home on Friday night. All 4A schools will be action with the rest of Wyoming's football teams getting their first games in next Friday.

Defending champion Natrona will play host to Cheyenne South the newest 4A team at Cheney Field. Meanwhile across town Kelly Walsh will play host to Cheyenne East Kickoff at both fields is at 7:00 with the Kelly Walsh/East game on AM 1030 KTWO. Natrona is ranked second and  and East is fourth in the preseason wyopreps.com Coaches and Media poll.  Here's a look at the rest of the opening week matchups. Cheyenne Central is at top ranked Sheridan. Number five Evanston is on the road at number three Gillette, and Rock Springs is at Laramie.
