The Casper Cutthroats posted a come from behind victory over the Cheyenne Grizzlies at Lansing Field on Wednesday night 11-8. The Cutthroats prevailed with a 5 run 7th inning.

It was a error filled game with a total of 11 combined errors. Colt McLaughlin and Nick Fisher homered in the game. Fisher had 3 RBI's  as well as Brandyn Crutcher. The Cutthroats are now 13-10, and will host Fort Collins tonight at 6pm at Lansing Field.

In Major League baseball, the Colorado Rockies lost to the St. Louis Cardinals on the road 4-1. Cardinal pitcher Adam Wainright threw 6 good innings, giving up one run, 8 hits and striking out 7. He struck out 7 of the first 13 batters he faced. Former Rockie Matt Holliday has been on fire for St. Louis. He went 3 for 4 last night and is batting .516 with 19 RBI's in his last 16 games. Those 2 teams wrap up their series tonight.

In the NBA, point guard extrodinare Steve Nash will be leaving Phoenix and joining the Los Angeles Lakers in a sign and trade deal. The 38-year old Nash, a 2 time MVP signed a 3-year $27-million deal and then shipped to the Lakers in exchange for 4 drafts, first rounders in the 2013 and 2015, and 2nd rounders in 2013 and 2014. Nash spent spent the last 8 years with the Suns.

The Wyoming State Trapshoot got underway on Wednesday at the Rocky Mountain Gun Club. Over 300 shooters across Wyoming and the U.S. will compete. This will run through the weekend with the singles championships on Saturday and the doubles championships on Sunday.
