Say What?

What up people?  Pokes came up short as did the Huskers last weekend.  Those were not the only two upsets; Arkansas got beat, as did Wisconsin, and Oklahoma State got beat by Arizona.

So week two is done and on to week three.  This weekend the Pokes host Cal-Poly and the Huskers host Arkansas State.  Hopefully both Pokes and Huskers end the day with a win!

Moving on to the NFL I can say that I really stink and picking scores!  I will just predict the winner or loser and see how that goes!  It was awesome watching football that counted last weekend!

Is anyone besides me in love with the NFL Redzone channel?  That is so cool!

For me, the most impressive team so far was the New York Jets.  Of course it could also be that Buffalo was just that bad, but the Jets looked good!

What happened to the Eagles?  I honestly thought the Browns, yes, the Browns were going to win that game, but Philly squeaked by with a one point win.

Jacksonville, whom I think is not a very good team, almost got a win over Minnesota.  Adrian Petersen made his return and will continue to make progress.

San Francisco made it impossible for the Packers to score.  They will definitely be a contender again this year in the NFC.

The Bears totally dominated the Colts.  Andrew Luck had a so-so day.  Of the five starting rookie quarterbacks, RGIII by far had the best outing last weekend.  I was amazed at that game.

The Denver game was awesome!  I really thought Pittsburgh was getting slow, but that Big Ben, now that guy is good!  It is unbelievable how he makes something out of nothing!  That was not enough to beat the Broncos Sunday with Denver winning that showdown 31 to 19.

Baltimore won handily over Cincinnati Monday night and San Diego beat Oakland.  Great games.

Let me say that Green Bay will make their adjustments and win over Chicago on Thursday night.  Sorry Travis! (editor note: Boooooooo!)

The Chiefs really should win against Buffalo, I will take Pittsburgh over the Jets, and the Niners will win over the Lions.  Dare I say the Broncos will win in Atlanta next Monday night?  That one is too close to call, for me.

Enjoy the games this week and as always, keep it real!
