
Cowboys Drilled by AFA in MWC Tournament
The Wyoming Cowboys turned in a dreadful performance in the Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas as they lost to Air Force 83-68. Air Force scored the first 25 points of the game and the Cowboys never recovered. The Pokes trailed at halftime 48-27 and shot just 32% from the floor in the 2nd half. Air Force was led by Jacob Van with 18 and Wyoming was led by Justin James with 17. The Cowboys who entered the tournament as the #7 will finish the season at 18-14. Air Force who was the #10 seed and won 4 conference games sit at 12-20 and will meet at Colorado State on Friday at the Thomas and Mack Center.
