In pro football, the World Champion Baltimore Ravens have signed defensive lineman Elvis Dumervill to a 5 year deal worth $35-million. Dumervill had 63 sacks in 7 seasons with Denver, but the Broncos wanted him to take a pay cut to $8-million a year. A 2-year deal was worked out but Dumervill's agent was late faxing in the paperwork, so the Broncos had to release him.
