Cowboys On The Road At Air Force Tonight-Daily Sports Update

The Wyoming Cowboys are on the road at Air Force tonight. The Pokes enter the game 4-9 in the Mountain West Conference and 18-9 overall. Air Force is 6-6 in league play including a win over Wyoming and 15-10 overall. The Cowboys are hopeful of getting back leading scorer and rebounder Leonard Washington, who's been nursing a bad ankle. Tonight's game from Colorado Springs is at 7:00pm on AM 1030 KTWO.

The Casper College teams wrap up the regular season tonight when they travel to Torrington to take on Eastern Wyoming. The games tonight will not effect where the T-Birds will be seeded in the upcoming Region-IX Tournament. The T-Bird men will host the tournament and meet Western Nebraska in the opening round Saturday night at 8:00. The Lady T-Birds will be the 4th seed and will take on Lamar, Colorado on Monday in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Tonight's games will be at 5:30 and 7:30pm on AM 1400 ESPN.

In spring training baseball, the Colorado Rockies beat Texas 9-1 in a Cactus League game in Arizona. Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitski went 2-4 with 3 RBI's. Tulo is trying to come back from a groin injury that limited him to just 47 games last season and none after May.

The 4A and 3A regional basketball tournaments are set to begin this Thursday. The 4A tournaments will be played in Green River and Gillette. The 3A tourneys will be played in Powell and Worland. AM 1400 ESPN will cover all of the Kelly Walsh and Natrona boys and girls games from Green River starting on Thursday.
