The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team improved to 6-4 with a 62-59 win over New Mexico State in Las Cruces on Sunday night. The Pokes built a big 2nd half lead and had to hang on down the stretch and did so thanks to some big free throws. Josh Adams once again led the way for UW with 22 points. Freshman Justin James had his best game as a Cowboy with 13 points and the same for Jordan Naughton with 8 points and 4 rebounds. New Mexico State shot just 35% from the floor to drop to 5-4 on the year. UW will be at home on Saturday to host Nebraska-Omaha.
