The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team made it to the 2nd round of the Thorne Cup playoffs by eliminating Cheyenne 2 games to none over the weekend at the Ice Arena. On Friday night, the Coyotes had a 2 goal lead and hung on to win 4-3. Josh Arnold, Tim Friberg Brady Griffin and Austin Parish tallied for Casper and goalie Rickard Langfeldt stopped 51 shots. On Saturday, the Coyotes put on an impressive performance with a 4-0 win. Friberg scored twice with Arnold and Luke Fairchild finding the back of the net as well. Casper now travels to Ogden for a best of 3 series in the 2nd round of the Thorne Cup Playoffs with Game 1 on Friday, Game 2 on Saturday with the if necessary game on Sunday. The Coyotes have gone 2-3-1 against Ogden this season
