The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team had a rough trip to the Salt Lake City area over the weekend and lost 2 of 3 to the Utah Outliers at the Accord Ice Arena in West Valley. After a never ending bus ride on Friday with bad road conditions, the Coyotes were blown out 11-2 with Luke Fairchild assisting on both goals. Casper bounced back on Saturday with an inspired performance, beating Utah 5-3 thanks to a couple of goals from Tim Baskin. The Coyotes lost a heartbreaking 5-4 overtime decision on Sunday with Lukas Lojka scoring twice. Casper is 29-14-6 in Western States Hockey League play and have moved up to 3rd place in the Mountain Division. The Coyoyes will start a 3 game series in Ogden, Utah on Friday.
